Sometimes...

in the busyness of life, you have to stop everything, pack a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine, take a walk in the woods, and just share the day. The rewards are manifold. Recall the past, discuss the present, and dream of the future.

Lovely pictures! You two truly have a remarkable relationship that most people can only hope to achieve with someone else. Its truly an inspiration. Congrats! I only hope that I can be as lucky as you two and find someone that I share my life with and travel the world.

Karl, I just chanced upon your site and could not help but experience the warmth of your photos demonstating the love you and Jennifer share. You are not only happy and grateful, but you are wise enough to realize it. Are you sure Toyota imported Land Cruisers in the late '50s? I did not think they were here until '63-'64 at the earliest, but I'm in the Pacific NW (backwoods). Maybe L A. By the way, I did not see photos from out here. I hope you get out here if you have not already. California is alright, but don't miss out seeing Oregon/Washington, but be prepared to sell Lake Erie and buy Columbia River, in Eastern Washington. Your camera will love the gorge, between Portland and The Dalles. I can point you toward some fantastic photo opportunities in which you can frame Jennifer out here in OR and WA. Your outlook is contageous, or at least it should be.MP

Must be the fifth or sixth time that I've looked at this set over the past couple of years (first brought here by a link to the Attica pictures) - it's still a great story!!
