I had been trying to locate this cricket for days in the front yard of our home. One day my wife hollered to me as she was arriving home from work and told me she had found the cricket I had been looking for. I grabbed my camera gear and headed out and got quite the surprise when I saw a white almost translucent cricket instead of the dark brown ones we normally see in Oregon. I used an off camera flash to obtain this photograph.
