This was out in front of my Mom's house. The house fared much better thank goodness.
I remember this tree growing up. It would have survived if it hadn't been for the
brilliant City workers, who in their infinite lack of wisdom had just recently trimmed
the tree roots in order to fix the sidewalk.
Yes, the sidewalk looks nice, but now there is no tree and the street looks rather naked.
