This female black bear was at the very top of a large oak tree eating acorns. When she reach branches
that she felt were too small to carry her weight (probably 350 pounds) she would shake them. It then seemed like it was raining acorns. The base of the tree was about 10 feet off the road and she was directly above the road. She had four cubs in the tree with her.
