Although other 'places' in New England claim to have good Maple Syrup....
there is nothing better on this earth than fresh, warm maple syrup from Vermont.
Don't let the mass producers fool you..the best and highest quality syrup
is almost a clear liquid. When you buy it in a store, the darker the syrup,
the lower the quality. Even the syrup in these bottles are fairly dark. The
finest quality syrup is the first batch rolling out of the sugar vat after a long year
of hard work, and hours of boiling..it may only run for a very short time...
then gradually darken to a stronger flavor.
