September 28, 2006 - Two Tone Dahlia

Rain showers today and getting noticably cooler. I got out between showers this morning and caught this one that had just apparently come out in the last couple of days. I used my 17-85mm lens for this one. It didn't do too bad on a macro shot, but it is a large flower.

This is one of your greatest shots so far..v I've never tried using my zoom lens for macro shots, will it work with 75-300mm lens?
