S. KEVIN DUFF

October 30, 1953 - September 9, 2003

(Kevin and I worked in Airside Operations as Agents and Gate Controllers at MIA together from the mid 70's until 1986 when I was promoted to Gate Control Supervisor. He passed away on the job at MIA on September 9, 2003.)

DUFF, SHELBY KEVIN, On September 9th Kevin was stricken by a coronary attack and passed away in his office at Miami International Airport where he had worked for 27+ years. He was born to Shelby and Mitche Hutchins Duff in St. Augustine, Fl on October 30th, 1953. He is survived by his former wife Juana M. Diaz-Duff and their two sons Samuel Byron and Kevin Andrew Duff of Miami. Shelby Duff his father of Lake Worth and his mother Mitche Hutchins Duff of Sarasota, two sisters Marcia Morris of Sarasota and Cathy Clark of Kent, Wa. His step-mother Nazila H. Duff and three step-sisters Soha Herrera and Sarah Salami of Wellington and Sandra Salami of Boynton Beach. He had several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins scattered throughout the country. In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made to Miami Childrens Hospital Foundation. A memorial service will be held on Friday the 26th at 2:00 pm in Concourse A auditorium at Miami International Airport. Take Palmetto Expressway to 36th St. Go east to NW 57th Ave and turn right. Go to 64th Ave and turn left. Follow 64th Ave to end to the General Aviation Center where parking is reserved and shuttle service will be provided.
