In all my years traveling past P.G. would you believe I've never stopped to see these creatures at this particular habitat?

Just the other day I spotted a Monarch in my backyard, flitting about before coming to rest on a rose bush. I wish I had my camera and I knew that if I ran inside the house to grab it that the Monarch would be long gone by the time I got back. Another moment preserved in memory rather than *film*.

Interesting observation, their wing colors appear to go dull when they're asleep?

I agree this is the best of the lot. Must be an amazing sight to see!!! Do they make any sound when so many are moving at the same time???
