to Tir Na Nog eight years ago
at times still in shock over 1998
my tears flow with missing my mom
thunderstorms bring Otherworld showers
wishing that life on earth had no pain
that fateful night I was with you as you left
my selfish side just wanted you with me
my spiritual soul allowed you sweet peace
I read that poem from your niece, Barbara
carrying your name and your nurse vocation
life changed forever in that surreal ICU room
I saw your true love already falling apart
he had to be forced to leave your side
his last words: "I was supposed to die first!"
little did I know I'd discover him 5 weeks later
again I try to focus on infinite loving times
sharing our last Vegas joy journey photo
my mind takes me back to the great escape
as well as to all our amazing family journeys
lucky that you're in the land of eternal youth
knowing in my hurting heart we will reunite
again I share words from my pen of dreams
sending magical hugs and kisses on the wind
we shared my first breath and your last breath
oh, Aladdin. I believe in your lamp...
one mysterious day I'll be in Tir Na Nog!
I miss you and always love you, Mom!
until we meet again, your sweet Johnny Cake
