Dog House?

Alright... for this one I am at a loss.

I am open to suggestions for a caption for this image. It is beyond me why someone would
have a 10 foot tall plaster dog head in their carport.

From the old Doggy Diner chain in San Francisco. I had some old negs scanned recently and have a photo of one on a pole before they closed the chain. I think i took it maybe 30 yrs ago because Dan White went to it after he shot Mayor Moscone. I'm going to Kihei next month. I'm going to be on the lookout!

oh... is it a house? i saw the hat on the dog and I thought it was in fron of a restaurant... in that case you could say "fresh dog sold here" yikes....
