One thing I'd advise young reporters heading out into the world to do: take good notes and make sure your notes are duplicated. It's too easy for a hard drive to crash or a computer to go missing. And forget about your steel-trap mind remembering everything. I can remember incredible details about the war....but not always the details I need to remember. Write things down and put them in a safe place. I know I wrote down the name of the guy on the right, but who knows where I put it. (I had identified the guy on the left as Anthony Loyd....and Anthony checked in to say that ain't him)
