Doves of peace, motion of freedom, white of purity. Leaving the woman in the dark made me take a step back and sink deep in my own thoughts too. And I'm intrigued by the unknown picture on the ground. Intentionally or not, it seemed to be a sign of remembrance, perhaps like what Jenene said, of what's most precious to us...

You really make a superb use of the shadows in your captures.. the way the woman is partially hidden in the darkness, gives a certain universal feeling to the photo. Love all the motion in there too ;)

Even though my thoughts are imprisoned you are there to release me with your hope.Carrying me away among the feathered rays of your spirit.

Brilliant incomparable work as always :!

Great shot. Love the motion. Difficult exposure situation with the extreme black and white colors.

So much of your imagery to me suggests struggle and confinement. Even when your subject is obviously moving, there is a feeling of stasis, real or imagined. It's like the hope of an entire people rests in the effort your subject will make to merely survive. Here, with your doves of peace, I see movement that not only suggests peace, but freedom and the spirit of humanity. Your observer is waiting for us to come to our senses and recognize what is most precious to us.

I like the way you control shadows - light.
white birds and shadow woman... Being able to see the birds and not the woman makes me feel like being a bird...
