F-14D Tomcat Farewell Flight

The last public appearance of the 30 year old F-14D Tomcat at the 2006 Oceana NAS airshow. F/A-18F Super Hornets lead the formation, followed by the F-14D Tomcats, and finally the F/A-18C Hornets. It was really a memorable moment.

Great photo! i knew they were being phased out but didn't know that was their last appearance.

Great shot!! I couldn't get to the airhow on Saturday, I had to work half a day,but I did get to Oceana on Sunday. Tom
