Yesterday was Jill's birthday.
She wanted to watch the Shuttle Atlantis launch on TV;
then see it overfly our backyard.



Following the launch she wanted to go to the Greyhound Races in Daytona Beach.
So we did.
At the races luck was on my side.
The dog wearing #1 in the 14th Race was named D's Royal Flush.
One look at my ScreenName and you'll know I had to put money on that canine.
As depicted in the images below, the dog wearing the red vest #1 started out trapped in the middle of the pack.
But after a romp around the track , D's Royal Flush prevailed.
My namesake wound up paying for our day's outing.
I can't wait to see what Jill wants to do for her next birthday.
