09092006 king of the castle

Climbing up a big hill formed on the site of an ancient motte and bailey castle today. Not much sign of the castle left at all, just wind and short grass to run about on. Dad is a bit disgruntled this evening - his own Holga results have been rather hit-and-miss but he lent the Holga to Mum today, who seems to have got the hang of it right away and got a perfect exposure of me at the top of the hill waiting for Dad to hurry up!

(dad: sorry we have not been around much this week, will try to catch up with everyone tomorrow!)

Enthusiastic Pooch. The Holga is an interesting camera; I used one in newspaper work and had some great photos and some not so great ones. You can't rush with a Holga.

Great shot Poochmum. Looks like Pooch could not wait to see the view from the top.

Indeed, the Pooch on the top is perfectly exposed. LOL!
I think I wouldn't be able to do anything with this Holga... I need the flexibility of digital (to deleted the manymanymany bad shots LOL!)
Love the angle and the composition of this image.
(Well, shouldn't I buy a Holga? Love the effect and the square format... LOL!)

That looks a bit of a climb up there, I bet you had no problems scuttling
up on your little legs!
