A Distant Fountain

Central Park, New York City

It was mid-morning and already the temperature was in the 90's going to 98 later that day. This little girl seems to wish to be playing in the fountain spray. But without proper attire..it is a distant fountain.

Great work... I really like mixing bw and color, it can make a good shot have so much more impact ... seemless work here...

I like this a lot - your treatment gives a real sense of detachment between the girl and those who almost seem to becoming one with the fountain. Neat.
