End of the day - Rubbish attracks birds - and pollution of Salmonella might be the result

Hi,
I found your gallery by chance looking for pictures of the fishmarket in Bergen.
When I saw your picture about the XXXXXXXX's stand and the related comment on the fact that they left trash around, I got very annoyed http://www.pbase.com/vikingspirit/image/66106995).
I worked at the fish market, and in case you don't know, it is not responsability of the sellers to clean up the market square, but they pay good money to the "kommune" to clean up after they close.
It was extremely unfair to write such comments on your photos, even mentioning specific names, so ruining the credibility of a person that relies on his own image to be able to sell. Why should you blame someone for things they are absolutely not responsible for, without having any idea of how things work? Why should you make people get the wrong opinion about a person who does not deserve that?
I really hope you will remove those lines.

Best regards,
Federico Mancini

ANSWER: I do agree -however-I am borned in Bergen and I have observed that this part of the fishmarked is worse than any other-the people of Bergen - like me -believe that it is a privelege to sell products at Torget Fishmarked-Fysical rubbish you bring to the marked has to be removed by the one who has brought the rubbish. RUBBISH do not have to be cleaned by the Municipal but they have to clean away bacteria and micro pollution. If you have some honour of beeing a Bergenser - you will not leave your rubbish -and very few does. At the fishmarked every seller is a guest of Bergen-Peolpe who do not belong to the city - may have other feelings. RAF
