I found this unusual seed pod growing on the vine of an Angel's Trumpet flower.

Unusual, but pretty. I really like the colour and apparent softness of the stem.

I spent a long time looking at this, very odd, as my eyes follow the gentle curves and then abruptly come to the spines which makes for an interesting shot.
