(Written in 2006) The live feed of "Big Brother" on the World-Wide Web gives subscribers a much more revealing look at the characters in the Big Brother house than is provided on the TV show. There is no censorship of profanity, and inter-personal relationships are shown in more detail. One of the things freely described in the live feed is an institution called the "Jack Shack," which has something to do with physical gratification but will not be described here.
A subculture of "Big Brother" subscribers transcribes dialog of the live feed onto a Big Brother forum (I have observed this practice myself). Thus, people who have limited time to watch the live feed---because of time wasted at work or sleep---can catch up later by reading the log. The serious voyeur should not be without this exciting, valuable service.
The person seated in the photo is a subscriber who often watches the live feed and even does some transcribing of dialog. Here she is paying attention to yet another very important aspect of life in the Big Brother house. She will remain unnamed to protect the innocent (this photographer) and the guilty (herself).
