While driving up Lassen, this was a shot I took from down near the sulpher pits. A little sharpening and some color adjustment was all that was needed.
This is a great drive, only open between mid-July and early September. We ate lunch at around 7000 feet, in 56 degree weather - in August. So what, you say? At home, only 30 miles away, it was 102 degrees. Yeah, it was nice.
