One of "the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" from the recent documentary filmed in San Francisco.
They are actually Cherry Head Conures. We were so excited to FINALLY get close and get some good shots.

Those parrots are awesome, Laura! Your pictures are beautiful, as always. The birds sure took a liking to Paul, didn't they? I loved the pic of the one on his back :) And your POTW has such clarity and gentle coloring. ~ Ang
