Okay....maybe not. Milkweed is poisonous to we humans, afterall. But that is the inherent self-defense mechanism of the fattening Monarch Butterfly caterpillar....to ingest all milkweed toxins and therefore become a creeping, crawling toxic depository to ward off any potential caterpillar diners!
