This saturated burnt stump was beached mid stream forming an arch in minature for the water to pour through the colours reflecting off its oily black surface combined with the reflected light on the water from Spring cottonwoods nade the picture very appealing to me.

Contax ST ,80-200mm zoom,Fujichrome Velvia
F16 at 2 secs, polariser backed off from maximum to intensify colours yert retain some of the reflections. full exif

Wonderful feel and texture to this. I like the balance twixt the water and the wood, the movement and the stationary... V+
