Dunstanburgh Beach

Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumbria.

I have a great liking for tumbledown castles and some of the finest are in Northumbria. Dunstanburgh sits on a verdant green plinth with the surf crashing over the oily black boulders on Embleton's beach.

Ian, you're a demon photographer! I've never seen such beautiful images made on transparency, displayed on the web like this. Never thought they can outperform their digital counterparts.

I see you use Velvia film. Digital just can't come close. GMV
