Every time I see a shot down an ally with backlighting, I think of a shot that Harry Callahan made. It was much more contrasty than this shot and did not have a reflection of the sun off windows like mine does. Mr. Callahan's work is currently on display at the Art Institute of Chicago, but my sweetie and I saw it in Atlanta about a decade ago so we didn't stop. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes older black and white work.
