Heading up the Upper Yosemite Falls Trail, we had commented on how small the falls are in summer.
We had heard a story where John Muir (who some probably knew as "Crazy John" 8^) went up to view the moonrise from behind the upper falls.
We reasoned that this must have been the spot, and Aaron went off the trail to investigate.
In a few minutes, I had a different perspective as to how "small" these falls were.
I couldn't fit the whole upper-falls section in the photo and have even a discernable speck to compare it to...this is maybe 1/3 of it.
