This was my first camp of my second backpack trip, up the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne. I decided not to decend to Pate Valley where it was hotter and possible buggy, so I had a short first day. Turnout the bugs were higher up, close to elevations I had already been hiking, but which had few bugs.
