It seems perfectly round to me, a light touch with a pencil mark when it is spinning
on my grinding table produces a mark all way round.

You can see the light grooves made by the large grains in the stone.
Also, there is a slight taper because the stone was not quite square to the blank.
Neither condition is a problem and I am really pleased with the way they turned out.
I should have wiped it with a rag before taking the picture, the white streak is just dust.

This picture was taken later, after bevels were made and after some hogging done on the top side.
