Another spectacular sunset at St. George Island. This has been a wonderful week at St, George, and if you’ve never vacationed here, I highly recommend that you visit Florida’s “Forgotten Coast.” I fist discovered this delightful place when I first moved to the Tallahassee area from Jacksonville Florida the year after my son was killed in 1997. This area is sometimes called “The Other Florida”, a land of hardwood trees and rolling hills, … not just the typical sand and palm trees that most folks think of when they think of Florida.
