Two self-portraits in a row...that's a BAD sign.
Photography can be a surprisingly lonely endeavor. The actual capture often times involves interacting with other people...especially if you are a portrait photographer! However, the often underestimated aspect is the post-processing afterwords. I believe that so much of the art happens after the shutter is released. The computer has replaced the physical darkroom for many, but the fine-tuning of the "negative" continues to be part of the art of photography. This is an aspect that I continue to study...learning from my mistakes as well as from others' tips.
So, I have spent the majority of the past two nights in the company of only my workstation. The workstation makes for poorer portrait than me...but just by a thin margin!
