In the distance to the right of the image, Pigeon House Mountain is plainly visible. On April 21, 1770, Lieutenant James Cook, Captain of HMS Endeavour wrote in the ship's log," Saw a remarkable peaked hill which resembles a square dovehouse with a dome on top and for that reason I named it Pigeon House".
The original aboriginal inhabitants called it Didhol.
From this vantage point it's a simple run back to the highway where everyone heads for home.
