The Grizzly Giant tree is about 3200 yrs old. The Egyptian pyramids may have been under construction when this tree first began to sprout. Empires(Roman) and civilizations(Inka's, Mayan and Mongolian to name a few) have appeared and died while this tree has lived. It might have been a youthful 1000 yrs old when Christ was born and a mature 2700 yrs when Columbus came to America. At 93 feet in diameter and 243 feet high, weighing about 6000 tons it may one day become the oldest and largest lifeform existing on the planet earth.
