As the sun rises over Mt Hood, befittingly a "pinkish" cloud floats over the Socialist Republic of beautiful Portland, while bumper stickers on cars emplore "Keep Portland Weird!"

Unfortunately it is estimated that Portland will grow from nearly two million to three million in the next 20 years, and it is hard to believe this relatively small, quaint, city will remain the same.
