Jules looking down upon his brother Boo. Typical of Jules. After the death of Slick, these two became inseparable. Both of them would come in to eat. Eventually it was Jules who died first. Shortly afterwards Boo died. Each time was difficult. Jules, for the first time, let me pet her while I waited for my neighbor, The Cat Lady, to come take her to the vet. She seemed to know that I wanted to try to comfort her as the sickness was killing her. Boo didn't come into the house that day. Later, as the sickness hit Boo, a neighbor saw him struggling to crawl away from my house to find a solitary place in the woods to die.
