If you have ever gone up the Lake Superior lake shore from Duluth, there is a good chance that you have passed (& hopefully stopped) at this state park. I have forgotten the name, but it is a really cool place. In the spring, where I stood to take this shot is a raging torrent of water. I am pretty sure salmon come up this river to spawn. I doubt if they make it past this falls though.
