The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) is the largest of the eleven pyramids at Giza. What we see today is about 10 meters shorter than the pyramid was when it was constructed. "Stone thieves" and erosion have taken their toll over the centuries.
The smaller pyramids to the right of the Great Pyramid mark the burial ground of Khufu's queens.
