Top view of the exhaust manifold with the turbo on it. The mating surfaces are taped to prevent contamination (dirt, dust, blood, brake cleaner, etc). You can see the wastegate on top of the turbo, and the arm sticking out of it is the infamous wastegate arm (don't touch it... not worth the hassle).
