Nice capture! While this image doesn't shock the viewers at first glance, it still works very well. The form of the bird makes the image, as well as the overcast sky in the back.

*****What an amazing capture! It certainly looks like the flaps are down as this bird comes in for a landing.....and what a desolate landing field it is!

*****You need a wildlife shot in here to round out the scope of your talents, and this is an amazing moment in time. It it is very incongruous to see a bird putting on the brakes like this. Wonderful moment.

Coming in for a landing. This is a bit eerie as well as visually powerful to me. the gray sky behind gives a disturbingly nervous feel to the image.
