* Petrified Forest by the Flintstones

Note: If you want to interpret this photo all by yourself then please don't read this any further.

A lesser known fact about the Flintstones was their interest in impressionistic abstract art. This is the first and only known fossillograph (fossil of an ancient “etched in stone art”) ever found referring back to the Stone Age era when the Flintstones lived in the city of Bedrock.
As displayed at Bedrock city Art Gallery, Wilma Flintstone had described this to be an evening by the Petrified Forest. It is known that there was a dense forest about 4.5 furlong away from Bedrock, by the Flint River on the other side of the quarry. The layers of trees from the Petrified Forest are clearly seen in the fossillograph. The flintgate bridge build over the river is also seen by the edge of the forest at the lower left corner. In the lower right corner one can see Fred and Barney sitting on the Dino from the quarry standing by the banks of Flint River.

For those who are geologically and paleontologically inclined, this fossiliferous rock formation is sandstone from the sedimentary strata; however it’s not an actual fossil. The marks are some sort of mineral deposits.

LOL! Thanks Melbob!! I too felt like its Barney's auto parked in the riverbed. But without a clear view of the licence plates, could not confirm it. :) -Cat

Thanks for relating to the story Lonnit. I was thinking whether I should describe the story or leave it open... then I said to myself, why not!... -Cat
