Mr. Bush -- Bring the Troops Home!

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will he ever learn?
When will he ever learn?

I support our troops and I supported the war when it was a war. It is now a police action. Our troops are neither trained nor equipped for such an endeavor. It's time the Iraqis step up to the plate and square their own country away. Reminds me of Arlington Cemetary. Where was this taken, Gary?

I support the troops, but I DO NOT support this war. It brings tears to my eyes each time I see lists of our brave men and women who have died and all the innocents caught in the cross-fire.--Rene

I missed this one too. I guess people are now making up for their lack of comments when you posted this. I like the photo and agree completely with the sentiment. Nice serious work here.

Sorry I missed this one. May I add my voice to yours? Let's add sending Bush home before he destroys everything this country stands for.

Very moving, Gary.

We have two military markers on our family tombs--one of a young nephew just turned 21 and one of a brother-in-law , also 21. Bring those troops home and not in metal caskets.

Very powerful image to go with those words. Some wars are just, this one doesn't seem to be.
As a veteran, I know that freedom is not free, and that soldiers do as they are told.
It is up to the civilian government to direct them.

We went to Alexandria Louisiana a few weeks ago to the National Cemetery, and after just a few shots, reading names and "unknowns" (though I knew of no one buried there) the haunting memories of those I knew that came home from Vietnam in boxes overcame me and I had to leave.

If our governments went around starting fires so they could tell us how wonderful the fire department is, they would be out of office and in jail so very quickly.

God bless the troops. Hope they all come home safe soon.

Powerful image and message!

There is a troubling full-length video out.
I hope it isn't true, but it makes you think.
Check it out when you have some time to spend on it.

Imagine the job-situation when all million soldiers came back ;-(
Looks like the next president will not change anything, because the voters won't like it.
BUT,I fully agree with you amigo !

At least he hasn't invaded North Korea (yet).
My take on Bush:http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/61114256 .

I'll drink to that Gary. I am afraid Mr. Bush is not going to send them home, he has never admitted to being wrong, why would he start now? He will leave this mess for the next President, he even said so himself! I agree with Doug, it is a scary world for the future generation. Ok, I am off my soapbox now. God Bless our Troops.

That song sends chills down my spine. Excellent shot and sentiments here Doctor Winters.

Gery, I couldn't agree with you more. Our world is heading toward chaos and I...well I'm getting worried about my granddaughter's inheited world. We (the US) have really messed things up and it's time to admit it and come home. OK, I'm off my soapbox now....who's next?
