This migrating Lincoln's Sparrow was banded at the Sharon Audubon sanctuary on 5/24/06. This individual represents the first Lincoln's Sparrow to be banded by the MAPS project in Sharon, Connecticut. The bird was netted during intern training, which was a week prior to the official start of the breeding bird-focused project in northwestern Connecticut.
