The scale of my disappointment ("size matters")

Near Delicate Arch (Arches National Park)

This pour-off might have been the only obstacle between me and a "direct" route to the Delicate Arch
Trail. Confirmation of same will have to wait for another trip. The reverse view, taken from where
I'm standing, appears in the next photo. The unwavering support offered by Joe Tripod, my personal
assistant, was an inspiration to me at this time of despair. We packed up, turned around, and soldiered on.
