Didn't you read the topic Armin? It said everyone except Armin can post one bokeh picy:-)
arminb13-Jul-2006 09:11
Why did I post these pictures, well, mainly for you to enjoy ...to share the magical moments and the happyness...I know that all three do not fit Rod's requirement, but I usually do not take pictures for the reason of a challenge only :o).

I soon will put two of the three in pending and replace them with more DOF-like photos, since one of a kind should be allowed :o)
arminb13-Jul-2006 09:07
dunno, why you changed your mind, but noted for the record ;o)
aam1234 13-Jul-2006 00:24
For the record, I take my "supremely" description and replace it with "very". I'm being honest Armin, no hard feelings I hope :)
Rod 12-Jul-2006 12:04
Your opinion is that of the host Jano:-)
I will deal wiv Armin when I log on tomorrow with a bit more time I hope.
The bleeding DOF is a certain width of sharpness in a picy, why the L are people posting different amounts of bleeding blur I don't know, it's the sharp width we want not the bleeding blur width.
Wot am I doing ...........I have to go to bed:-) Nite nite:-)

As I said, this is a great shot. But I think we are only allowed one pure in focus foreground shot with the DOF in the background. I really see no difference in your three shots than Lee's "controversial" sunflower shot. I think you should eliminate two of these lovely shots Armin...and go with what Rod apparently has challenged us to do overall. I think you have gotten the street photography thing down though :) Good for you! BTW, I really love the embedded photo - too bad the background is too in focus for this challenge :( Obviously my opinion is not of the host's. jano

Love the crop and the spontaneous expression.

I like this one the best...it tells a story. She is gorgeous too.
aam1234 11-Jul-2006 16:46
Can we see the other one Armin, either here or in the main thread.

Thanks
arminb11-Jul-2006 06:16
Thanks Jano and Aam :o)
Jano, considered this as well, and immerdiately did another shot with less focal lengths as well to capture more of him. 'Unfortunately' too much sharpness over DOF resulted... so I guess it would be off topic for this challenge :)

These are all great images Armin - I like this one the best because of the beautiful girl's natural smile. The only thing would have been to just get more of the "tin man" in the pic to bring this more to life. Great street photography on all images. KUDOS! jano

You are supremely talented Armin. Wish I'm like you (easy on USM though).
