I met him in casual conversation on the boat ramp today while watching the preperation for the races that happen every year at the Thompson dam. My curiousity led to question after question and Fred was not only kind enough to explain the proceedings but also took me back into the 'Pit' area where he explained about the different motors, and class of boats that were represented from all over the US.
A true gentleman and I thank him for his time. He is greeting an old friend here. The best images don't have studio lights (or flash for that matter). 2 happy smiles is all it takes.

Will be absent for the most of this week, tho I will be looking. Up to my eyebrows in processing and then on a 3 day photo conference this weekend. I'm not even gonna ask if there is internet hookups :)
