'59 CONTINENTAL

TATTON PARK

I've just started processing the shots from the 'Stars and Stripes' Weekend at Tatton Park over the 1-2 July. A highly pleasurable event to shoot, not just because of the number of Classic American automobiles present or the sunny weather but also because it was the first time I got to use my new 5D in anger. It was bliss to not have to keep swapping lenses all day, or carry a camera bag, simply having two cameras round my neck with different lenses on.

Anyway, this is the first shot I have uploaded from the 5D and I have to say I LOVE IT !! (The camera, that is).

Anyway, if you can spare a moment, please let me know your views on the shot - I am always grateful for any comments as it helps me evaluate my efforts.

Thanks.

Love the classics and old muscle cars. Check out my galleries here on Pbase. And BTW, a great shot of the Continental. The angle adds to the perspective and the colors are rich and intense!! Got to be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I've got three Canon DSLR's and it is nice not to have to swap lenses and not worry about dust getting on the sensor.

Back when you could gauge the cost by the pure gaudiness. I loved them. Vote

This had to be shot at an angle to fit in the tail fins.
Great shot!
