Dear R.Ashwini, I am Sudhi s/o D.S.Sethuraja Rao, Village Munsiff staying at 42 (Old Door No.) of Hanumanthapuram close to temple. I still remember very well your grand father Shri.Gudi Kittu, a tall, well built and smily face gentleman performing pooja for Lord Hanumantharayar. He could perform archanas in melodious karnatic raagas. I am happy to know about you and your family. When ever I go to Dharapuram, I make it a point to meet your uncle Murthy and Kallapa. Namasthe,Iam Aswini (TIRUPUR). My Maternal Uncle Murthy and Sathy are performing Poojas daily in this temple. I like this temple very much. Every Year I used to visit the Car Festival with my mother Gayathri (Daughter of Kittu alias Krishna Rao). May Lord Hanumantharaya bless everyone.

I was born in Dharapuram but haven't visited the place in nearly 35 years. I plan to go there in December this year. Thanks for the picture. It makes me want to visit the temple and the beautiful Amaravathi river even more!
