Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, these petroglyphs were done by prehistoric Fremont and Paiute cultures.
The Southern Utah Expedition led by David Fullmer discovered them in 1850. In their report to Brigham Young, they said Chief Walker, a Ute chief, called Parowan Gap "God's Own House."
