St. Louis

Drove 350 miles to get this shot.
After I got here found there was no place to
take it from.

So, I climbed over the dike wall and across some railroad cars
to get to the river.

After I got setup a police officer came by
on an access road
and told me I was trespassing.

I told him I just wanted to get this shot of St. Louis.
He was very nice about it,
took my name and phone number and left me alone.

After he left I packed up
because where I was at
still wasn't close enough to the river.

So I climbed the rest of the way down the dike
right to the river's edge.

This picture is the result.

I hope you enjoy it.

This beautiful. I just came through St. Louis and now I wish it would have been at night. Great job and beautiful colors.

I like the reflection off of the arch. It almost looks like the water is reflecting off of the curve at the top. It is interesting how there is light all along the far bank except right in front of the arch. Nice job. Watch out for the trains.
