I knew as soon as this photo came up I had to comment and when I read the previous comments I was blown away by how closely they echoed my response. The swim fins, the beer bottles - a place where people obviously gathered to relax, enjoy each others' company and reflect on their surroundings - all gone. Except for the sea.
There's a great feeling of desolation as one looks to this photo... it's strange, because in this one I don't see the damage that is present in some of the other photos you have in this gallery, but somehow there is something here that makes that feeling stronger... Mysterious...
