I came upon this owl just sitting there by a clump of trees. Must of been only 30 ft. away. It stared at me, I took a couple of pics quickly and as I turned around to keep the dogs from getting closer, she disappeared. Don't know if she flew away or walked into the bushes, but I couldn't find her. I think if the dogs had seen her, she would have won. A Great Horned Owl could probably make mincemeat out of a standard poodle and a small rottweiler.
